At what point in time does this Ability resolve?

When the unit performs an Attack, thus is simultaneous with other effects of the same trigger such as Stand Your Ground. As soon as the attack is declared, the ability is in effect, preventing anything that triggers 'before resolving' such as Horrific Visage.
